Land Acknowledgement

We want to take a moment to acknowledge that NW Treatment and all of our staff reside on the traditional and ancestral homelands of many different people and tribes.  We ask all of our staff and community, including our governing bodies, to respect and learn the true history of the lands on which we stand.  We resolve to work with all of the tribes and peoples of this land to build a shared, sustainable future for all.  We particularly strive to decolonise our approach to behavioral health and wish to incorporate indigenous learning wherever possible.  Below we have listed the tribes connected to the land on which all NWT offices and staff reside.  We encourage all to research where you are personally located as well.
